Sean Caraway is a Senior Geotechnical Engineer with EnviroSound Consulting, Inc. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida in 1993. He has over 13 years of experience in geotechnical consulting and construction materials testing and observation. He has completed geotechnical investigations, as well as construction testing and observation duties for a wide range of commercial and residential projects. Sean’s project experience includes work in seven states and abroad.

Sean has been involved with all phases of geotechnical and testing work on projects, including project management. He has completed field exploration and site reconnaissance assignments, laboratory testing, engineering analyses and report preparation. Certain key issues that he has analyzed and addressed on projects include slope stability, soft, loose and/or organic soils, liquefiable soils, expansive soils, mitigation options, shallow and deep foundations, retaining walls and pavement sections.

 

Sean has twin girls that keep him very busy. In his limited free time he enjoys soccer, hiking and photography.
